Things are starting to happen down at the allotment. The broad beans have lots of flowers and are looking good.

Catherine, damn your Southern weather ! My green beans are three inches high and have frost forming on their lower slopes - it'll be July before we see anything resembling a flower never mind an actual bean.
We've got proper beans now (28 May). The downside to being in the South is that we all have to live in tiny, expensive houses (although I bought a pot of basil from the greengrocer yesterday, and it came from Hull, of all places).
I have set up this blog, because I have now given up all hope of Apple ever sorting out the problems with my previous website, which stopped publishing updates after a software (iWeb) upgrade.
Despite this setback, I still love all things Apple.
